I'm having issues with this tampon?

My flow was moderate/heavy today, and I used a tampon for the first time. It went in...kinda hurt. It's been in for four and a half hours now...and it's not coming out easily. >< I have work tomorrow and have to go to bed!! What's wrong with it? I used a tampon for regular flow, which is what I have!! Argh.

LOL! u might have to pull hard or stick your finger in there, sorry.

It hasnt soaked enough up. Maybe set your alarm for an hour and check it then. if its hard to get out just keep setting your alarm and checking it. If its not soaked enough its going to stick and it will hurt if you pull it out and possiby leave some of the tampon in there. Maybe try going in the bathtub and running the water on it so it will soak it up and come out.

Your probably just tight from never having anything up there before. pull on it...it&#039;ll probably hurt...ALOT but it will get better once you use tampons more often. I had this same problem.

I never use a tampon until the flow is alot.

I would go sit down and try and push like

your doing #2. It will come out. You dont need

to push it way up there. I just use OB, they

dont have an applicator and I push in about and

and inch or so. If flow is light just use pad or

liner. Go sit on the toilet and push. Good Luck :)

i think the tampon isnt saturated with blood enough so thats why it hurts to take it out. i would say to relax and take your time when taking it out.

Trust me, if it&#039;s your first time its perfectly normal; this happened to me too.

When you wear them they get bigger, it just takes a couple times to get used to. It will come out, just keep trying! And whatever you do, DON&#039;T LEAVE IT IN ALL NIGHT!! It will proabably leak and you could get tss.

Nothing&#039;s wrong with it. You&#039;re just using it for the first time and it&#039;s kind of awkward. I&#039;ve never met a female who figured out or liked tampons on the first try.
