I'm having safari trouble on my itouch?

I have a jailbroken 1.1.4 itouch and after i jailbroke it safari was still working fine but now it cannot find the server for any website.

Never happened to me before. try restoring the ipod using itunes and before you jailbreak check if safari works. if not go to the apple store and ask whats wrong but do not jailbreak or they will suspect that it was your fault that you jailbroke the ipod touch.
