I'm having spike issues with my internet on my new computer with Window Vista. ?

I've recently got a new Dell computer installed, with Windows Vista and all that. I put in my wireless-g linksys in and the internet seemed to be fine until i installed a game to play online. In this case, this game is Warcraft 3, but the problem rest not in the game itself, but that only when I play online, I would have what most people say are "spikes" where the screen freezes for 2-4 seconds due to the internet having issues. I've googled and yahoo searched "Vista wireless spikes" and found several posts that are similiar to what i'm having. Any suggestions on how to fix these spikes?

You'll need to go on the WOW forums and check, but my guess is that it is Vista. Vista does not do games well, and I do not believe WOW is Vista certified.
