Everytime I surf the web now, I get a window every couple minutes saying "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We apologize for the inconvenience" and it immediately closes out and I have to start it up all over again. This literally happens every couple minutes and it getting really annoying! I have service through SBC and live in California. Why does it keep doing this over and over and over again?

  1. Your IE is corrupt, not uncommon.

Install Firefox, much more secure web browser.

    Good Luck!

EDIT: Google "Firefox download", follow the links to download the latest version to your desktop, close internet explorer & double click the Firefox installer you just downloaded, follow the prompts and then browse away!

  2. Your IE is corrupted. Upgrade new version or reinstall your IE.
