I've been trying to obtain my birth certificate for 2 years now and I know all my info is correct, but they kept telling me need additional information. So I called and I come to find out they don't have me on file. I told my father what they told me and he said well maybe they can link it from your siblings and your mother. I gave them a call the next day and they did look it up and all my siblings were linked to each-other, but I was know where to be found. I have a SS card and its legit. I'm paying taxes / receiving tax returns, and I've been through the school system which i used my birth certificate to get into that I lost along with many other things when we moved to VA from Maryland. Is their anything I can do to get it? I even have a baptismal certificate from the catholic church along with a hospital birth certificate. AS I mentioned before I have a SS card also. Anyone have any ideas. And before I end this let me also repeat that my information is correct 100% its the same on all the documents I do have and the same as the photograph of my birth certificate in my "Baby's First Year" thing my mother made when i was born. Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  1. Do this, go down and talk to one of the local behavioral health services companies. They cant help you, but they generally work with a single company that is very good at finding birth certificates and can put you in contact with them..

  2. Is there some sort of number showing on the picture of your birth certificate (On the certificate itself)? That would be the certificate number. Maybe they can track it with that.
