I restrict my calories alot. my metabolism is stopped or something. because even when i eat 1,000 or less, plus exercise, i don't lose 1 lb even.

if i did a fast, would it "jump start" my weight loss? or just would i eat a cracker and gain it back? would it just be water weight or real fat and inches?

i'm just under 5'7" and 124 lbs. i want to weigh 10 lbs less like i used to.

  1. Jesus Christ. Well for one I think that you are underweight. Never fast to lose weight. Unless your doing it for religious purposes thees really no need to do it. I f you reall want to lose weight eat more fruits and vegetables. And drink more water a day. Also set a time for you to stop eating and snacking after a certain time. I hope your not a smoker or drinker. Good luck. And its more of a mental thing. Dont think your fat cause your not. Just look at it as you wanna lose ten pounds. For some reason.

  2. If you fast, your body goes into starvation mode and you won't lose weight.  The key is to get healthy and fit.  Drink plenty of water, eat a lot of fruits and veggies and exercise regularly.  Check out my blog for how I lost my last 5 pounds that wouldn't budge!  http://buzz.prevention.com/community/bcr...

  3. you're kidding, right? at 5'7", you are at the bottom of what is considered a healthy weight.

weight loss takes time, more than anything else, and results can be deceiving because your body tends to actually fluctuate in weight naturally.

are you weighing yourself at the same time, under the same conditions everyday?

I would recommend you speak with your physician to see if they even think that losing additional weight is even healthy for you.

  4. You seem to be at a perfect weight to me. i'm jealous...
