I really only need the answer to A and how to word to type it properly.

(a) Find a conversion factor to convert from miles per hour to kilometers per hour.

mi/h = km/h

(b) Suppose the maximum highway speed is 45 mi/h. Use the conversion factor from part (a) to find the speed in kilometers per hour.

(c) Suppose the maximum highway speed has been raised to 60 mi/h in some places. In kilometers per hour, how much of an increase is this over the 45 mi/h limit?

  1. That's 1.6 km in a mile. A mile is a larger quantity than a km.

    Y mi/h x 1.6km/1 mi the miles cancel out leaving km/hr

  2. 0.621 kilometer's per mile

    45/.621 = 72.4 km/hr

    24.15 km difference
