I'm heading to NZ for only about 2 weeks - where I should go?

I'm flying into Auckland. I know 2 weeks is not a lot of time, so need to choose carefully. Any sites I can look at for ideas would be appreciated too.

Auckland is a great place to start as it is up there with most cities of the world. The real beauty being that you can be in the wilderness in a very short time. Head south to Waikato & Lake Taupo for some amazing scenery. If you have some time left over try & head to the South Island where the scenery is spectacular & dramatic.
