I need help and I need it fast. I'm left to make a 30th Birthday Party fun - the only problem: The Guest of Honor is not into themes and is pretty much a plane jane. I need some great tips and ideas for fun but less "themey". Should we have games, if so, what kind? HELP!

  1. One game that we played at a party is cards on backs...you will need 3x5 index cards and pins to attach them to everyones backs.  They get to walk around to everyone and ask up to ?? questions (how ever many you choose) to try to guess the answer.  You can make it famous couples, things from the 30's (themey), foods...anything.  Also, make everything one color, like silver...very elegant looking.  Have everyone bring a dish from their own heritage and have people try to guess what spices and such are in it.  Also, have everyone write a special something about the guest of honor and everyone takes turns picking out a card and guessing who said it....

Just some ideas...Hope this helps...Have fun!!!

  2. Play games like poker something like that and bet money.Have good music maybe some barbecue order pizza talk bring TV outside watch a type of movie that's good for them play twister.

  3. Have an open bar.  Maybe "plain jane" will turn into a wild and crazy Jane.  :)

  4. if shes a PLAIN jane, then have a plain jane party, a boring get together,...and just have all her friends, plenty of good food and music by a dj.....No theme, nothing,...i wouldnt bother with games either....

  5. Sounds like the birthday girl doesnt want a fuss so just get people together with food drink and have fun chatting If you want to do something fun for them have it at their favoirte restaurant I did that last year for my little sister's 35th bday and we had fun
