I'm here in Riverside,CA and I felt the 5.4 this morning and....?

Question

I heard on the news that the 5.4 we had this morning was a forequake and a bigger earthquake could be on it's way! Does anyone have further info on this?

Actually it was 5.8 and it felt it pretty strong

i live in Los Angeles, CA and i felt the eathquake as well. I heard that this was actually a warning to get ready for the big one! Lets just hope not and just in case, get prepared.

there is a 5% chance that it was a forequake. i hope that was the whole thing though

Yeah, I read that the epicenter was I think LA and it was felt all the way down at  Las Vegas and San Diego.  There were many aftershocks, and it probably caused damage to structure foundations and some cracked plaster.  Almost glad I got out of CA, what with the South end shaking and the North end baking.  But who am I kidding.  I will always love southern cali.

at first I heard it was a 5.8... then they all started saying it was a 5.4... whatever... they also said the epicenter was somewhere near Chino Hills area.... .... I live just a little south east of Long Beach.... and it felt so weird... I haven't felt an earthquake for a while!  I just hope the "big one" doesn't hit anytime soon... but when it does.... i'll make sure I'm ready
