1. So.. I'm his slave should be Je suis sa/se esclave, right? Since esclave starts with a vowel, it should be je suis s'esclave. [tell me if I'm wrong at this part]

2. Now how to pronounce it? Since 'suis' ends with an 's' and meets "s'esclave" that starts with an 's', it should be pronounced 's', right? But the 's' in "s'esclave" meets a vowel, which is 'e', so it should be pronounced 'z'. In short, how to pronounce it? Je sui[s]esclave or je sui[z]esclave?

    Je suis esclave is pronounced je sui-z-ésclave.


  2. Je suis SON esclave....

    Words that begin with a vowel take the masculine possessive, because two vowels together don't sound right.

    Juh - swee - sone  - es - klav
