I don't want to do pizza, because several (including myself) are dieting. I thought about Qdoba's taco bar/catering thing, but we're all getting free quesadillas for lunch today.

So what is easy-ish and likely to satisfy everyone?

  1. Get them to make their own as part of the training and bond building - supply bread, wraps, pittas and some meat and fish products along with a selection of salad ingredients. Get them in to teams and ready steady cook.

  2. store bought chickens that are roasted and lots of salad makings with different salad dressings.

  3. subway platter? deli sandwhiches can please vegetarians, dieters, and people who are just plain hungry!

  4. How about Thai?  There are a lot of different options:  chicken, beef, pork, vegetarian.  Few people dislike Asian restaurants!

  5. Grilled cheese sandwich with tomato or a roast beef sandwich using french baguette as bread. mmmm hope that helps!

  6. get a 6-foot long sub from Subway or Quizno's.  Have them hold the mayo and mustard, and let people put their own.

    Or Schlotzky's!  YummY!

  7. how about take out chinese????

or one of those large subs on whole wheat roll

  8. my office frequently gets lunches catered and we always ask for wraps and salad this way u can have sandwiches and not worry to much about the carbs.

  9. Many restaurants do some type of boxed lunch with a variety of sandwich choices, a pasta salad, or potato salad or chips plus some do fresh fruit and then a cookie or brownie or something for dessert. Some of those same type places do mini sandwich platters that could also include some type of a wrap. We have lunch for about 40 people about once a month and we always struggle with something different to serve. Last month we found a local restaurant and ordered soup (two varieties) and then we bought our own deli meats, cheeses, fixings(lettuce, tomato, pickles, condiments and oh yes several types of bread, even a low fat one) and arranged on platters and also had the option for soup and salad instead of soup and sandwich and then we always pick up something for dessert.......many options available for that. Hope this helps. BTW the soup was a huge hit to my surprise.

  10. A large sub is a good idea. Also wraps are easy and good.

  11. platters of "roll-up" sandwiches from your grocery's deli .... and a veggie and/or fruit platter
