Question:

I'm hookin up an amp to a stock car radio. I have the line out convertor, but im not sure how to install it?

I'm hooking it up to a 2001 ford taurus and need the wiring diagrams for the stereo wiring harness.

  1. it should be pretty obvious you will need probably a constant + and a ground -  ( probably red or yellow and black ) and probably a remote turn on ( should be blue ) this wire connects to a wire that turns positive when you turn your radio on . since you have a stock radio you might not have one that will do that ( these usually turn on power antennae or a stock amp on )  If you dont you can just connect this wire to the accesory power lead to  your radio this will turn positive when the ignition key is turned to the on or accesory position.    now that you got that you have to identify the speaker output wires of the radio ( dont know what kind of car you got  but )  those go into the amp and there should be rca outputs to run to an amp.........
