If you have a good structured plan or ideas on good gifts for this please help me out. It is for a large group of men whom are all friends. If you also have ideas of other giveaways that are tied to texas hold'em please post them. Outside of Badbeat, High Hand, and First out, I'm lost. Thanks!

  1. Biggest Bluff, Hitting the nuts, win on a kicker, get out flushed or out straighted and win a hand in the dark (without looking)

  2. Everybody dealt in the hand has to pay to the player who wins with 2 7 offsuit.

    Best hat award.

    Best joke award.

  3. What you do is buy a cake decorated in Texas hold um .It's a Donkey cake with like Ace Ace or some hand and chips on it.First out gets to cut the donkey cake.If you can spring a few bucks a nice chip set for bad beat, high hand for the night should get a small cash praise perhaps 1/2 the buy in.

  4. We throw a big tournament every super bowl sunday, and we give out the following:

For the first out a copy of a Texas Hold'em instructional video.  The book "Hold'em for Dummies" is another good idea.  Basically something that implies the person needs to learn how to play.  But this year I just got Annie Duke's instructional video from NexFlix and ripped a copy.  Pretty easy.

For the worst beat we gave a bottle of Jack Daniel's to help drown the sorrows.

We also play with a kill chip, where you get a buck for every person you knock out and $5 for every past champion.  It's a bounty system, but it makes things fun.

You could give a copy of Read 'em and Reap or Caro's Book of Poker Tells for the loser of the best bluff.  The winner would get, well, the other guy's chips.

A ball gag for the most annoying poker coach.  This year we had one guy who told EVERYBODY how awful they played their hands, what they should have done, etc.  And the funny thing is he didn't even make the final table.

Cheap sunglasses for the worst poker face.

A tasteful card protector for the guy with the most ornate, over the top one.

Nominate one hand, and give a prize for having it on the showdown.  Like a year's subscription to Card Player Magazine for the first person to play broadway (straight, T to A).

A 12-pack of Milwaukee's Best for the first guy who does something horribly girly (can't drop a giant can on him, so do the next best thing).
