  1. I think it really depends on how well homeschooling is working for you.  If you are enjoying it and not having any major problems, then I don't see any reason why you should go back to public school.

I personally feel public school takes away a lot of freedom and comes with it's own set of hassles that I would not want to deal with.  I would prefer being more in charge of my own time, coursework and social life.

I would suggest making a list of pros and cons.  Think about your goals and what you want to get out of public school, and see if your desires are realistic.

Here's a comparison of homeschooling and public schools that may help:

    Good luck making a decision!

  2. You need to ask yourself were you happy in public school. Are you happy in Home school. Also consider why you left Public School in the First place.

  3. well, if for you fifth grade was middle school, then it will be very similar, just a lot more homework, what I noticed is that teachers give you tons of homework in eighth grade compared to sixth and seventh, I think it is to prepare you for highschool, but the bright side is that when you go to highschool, everything will be really easy for you, so yeah, I think you should go for eighth grade if you plan to go to a public highschool

  4. i home schooled from 4th grade to 7th and went back my 8th grade year. It was kind of a shocker, and I didn't know what to think of a lot of the social skills of my fellow students, that wasn't because i never saw other kids, that was because i never saw THAT MANY kids all together, being jerks to each other. If you find that social interaction comes really easily to you, and you can handle people being all psycho for no reason and it won't get to you, then it's good. As much trouble as i had with the other kids, i still never regretted going back. However the quality of education in public school is kind of craptastic. In my senior class most people's writing ability was limited to really short sentences and even those didn't make much sense. (i'm not the paragon of writing perfection but come on, you don't put two conjunctions right next to each other)But if you intend to go to public high school, i would say GO FOR IT, because it gives you an opportunity to get back into the swing of things before everybody is really cemented into who they're gonna be the last 4 years.

  5. Well that depends...what were your reasons for leaving public school in the 1st place?

No one can make that decision but you and your parents.

I think public school is a great, educational & social experience, but like i said, it depends on why you left!

*i definitely think you should go back if your reason for leaving was time constraints, which you don't have now.

P.S. Thanks for the thumbs down!!!!!!!!!!!
