I'm in Air Force Security Forces (military police) and i want to go in a civilian police force how hard is it?

Im looking at becoming a civilian police officer in the state of virginia and id like to know what that life is like the monthly pay , and the various jobs within the local and state police.

You need to start out as a beat cop with any of the agencies.  Each agency has different pay scales and duties.  Contact a few of the bigger ones you would like to work for to find out the specifics of those agencies.  Your military career will help you in getting the job.
