Any advice for good restaurants? Or things to do which are not necessarily 'touristy'?

if you wander around the back streets of the trastevere area of rome, theres some great little eating places apparently. im going in a few weeks so have been researching loads!!

one place which has been recommended is a takeaway pizza place called tavola calda in trastevere, at Piazza Trilussa. supposedly the best pizza in town...

also the ice creams at Gelateria alla Scala in trastevere.
