I'm in a Dilemma (or two)...?

Okay, 1st- I got this dog for my grandmother, because i worry about her. She lives all the way in Jersey, and we are in North Carolina. She called us one day (my father is her son) worried because she had let this man come thru her house because he said that he was with a security company. After she gave him a tour of her house (i kno, not smart) he left, then her neighbors told her about a scam that had been going on in the area with situations like that. Now, my aunt lives with my grandmother, but she works at night, so my grandmother is usually home alone. My aunt also doesn't like dogs (my grandmother already told me she didn't mind) which was a little worrysome with the whole dog situation, but like i said, i worry about my grandma. NOw, i didnt tell my grandma that i got her a dog (i am still training him, and he was gonna be a christmas surprise) so she wouldn't kno. My mom and dad are both a litte concerned because of how my aunt acts. NOw, on the other hand i have another aunt. She lives down here on the other side of town where we stay. Her husband recently died and she is lonely, and one day when she was on the fone w/ my mom, the dog started to bark. she questioned my mom about it and all, and said she would be interested in at least meeting it, and that she'd be willing to pay me for it (i would never ask her to pay me for him). I have been tossing the decision up in the air over and over in my mind about who should i give this puppy to. My biggest problem with giving it to my grandma was my aunt, then a few days ago i found out that my aunt will be leaving for africa in January. Now i don't know what to do, at first i was starting to lean towards my aunt (the one that wants the dog) but after learning this i just don't know...

Situation #2. I have a job that i love dearly, i've been at it for a little over a year now, and i just got a raise ( a small one, but a raise nontheless). Shortly after my newfound money my doctor tells me that i need knee surgery. *that sucks*. I took it all in stride, got some extra hours at work to kinda make up for the time that i would have off. I have been outta work now for about 7 or so weeks. They've kept me on as a worker, although i am not getting paid (of course) This is my last week of bedrest. I askd my Physical Therapists if they felt that i could, or should go back to work, her response was "I can't tell you not to go back to work, but i wouldn't advise it, Its' gonna be up to you". Not what i wanted to hear. As much as i love my job, i love myself and my body more, and i don't want to risk damaging it any more. Now note, i don't NEED this job, but i enjoy having earned my own money and it makes it so that i can take care of myself and my responsibilities w/out having had help from my parents. I don't know what to do...

PLEASE HELP

  1. 1 Which aunt is going to africa?

If it is aunt #2, who wants the dog, then Grandma should be offered the dog.

If it is aunt #1, then give aunt #2 the dog.

#2 You should follow the medical advice, if it only means an extra week away from work. If it means longer, consider shortening your recuperation time, provided you feel confident about your physical recovery, and your job is not too physically demanding.
