Who do you take next? Keep in mind this is a keeper league, but we are in our first year of doing keeper, so all are available.

Addai, the young RB who is poised for a great season, or Westbrook, the proven fantasy workhorse, but is at that dreaded age (for a RB) of 30.

What if Addai is taken 4th, do I go with Jackson or Westbrook? (i think jackson is the best pick there)

How about if westbrook goes 4? Jackson over Addai?

I have ruled out drafting Moss, so only RB advice please! thanks!

  1. I'm in a similar situation - I am definitely holding Westbrook. Addai isn't a bad choice. Steven Jackson is #2 behind LT in my opinion, although Peterson is a good pick. Don't take Brady 3 unless your scoring heavily favors QB's - most set ups favor RB's.

  2. In a redraft league, I would take BOTH Jackson and Westbrook over Addai.

In your KEEPER league, I would take Addai over both of those guys.  I don't think Jackson will hold up over the next few years because he is just a little too big and he has been injured already.  I don't think Westbrook will hold up because he is getting older and he has been banged up over the past few years.

If the only choice in your league is Jackson or Westbrook, I would take Jackson because of the youth factor.

  3. In a keeper league I would lean towards Addai unless it scores PPR (receptions) then SJAX.

Westbrook has been awesome, but so were Larry Johnson and Shaun Alexander the last couple of years. Westbrook is getting close to that magical age and it seems he knows it with the contract demands and new agent.

Both Addai and Jackson have had a couple of injury issues, but that is to be expected. Someone who does not get injured is the exception. AP and LT both had injuries last year as well.

If you do take Westbrook just remember to back yourself up and take a couple of rookie RB's in later rounds, who knows they may end up being your keeper next year. Guys like Mendenhall, Stewart, Forte or Kevin Smith.

  4. addai

  5. Out of those options I would go with Westbrook, Jackson, Addai - in that order.

  6. Marion Barber

  7. ok you definetely go with westbrook

whether steven jackson is picked or not you have to go with westbrook

he proved himself as a good runningback and scored alot of TDs because of his recieving

Steven Jackson doesnt have great speed and is coming off an injury

so this is the order i would choose assuming that LT and AP are picked

    Westbrook

    S-JAck

    Brady

    Addai

  8. Addai.
