i graduated high school and i'm about to go to college soon, i miss all my friends and when i think back to all the good times i had with them it makes me sad knowing that it's all in the past.i tried calling them to make plans to hang out before the summer ends but everyone is too busy. 2. Well one thing is to think of all of the new friends you will make in college. Also if you have time go on a brief vacation or something.

  3. just go on,you soon get use to it and be as busy as they, nothing to be too sad, have new friend and carry on,be mature.

  4. I will let you in on a little secret. When people start college, they go through a fase in which they are all into "moving on" and making new college friends, and distancing themselves from their high school friends. However, pretty soon (maybe a semester or two) into college, they become nostalgic like you and then miss their old high school friends.

They don't miss them right now because high school just ended! Wait a while. Pretty soon your old group of friends will be planning a get together. It is NOT in the past. Friends from high school usually have more secure and lasting friendships with their high school buddies than college buddies, because they knew them first.

When I went off to college, everyone did their own thing and met new friends. However, the summer after our freshman year everyone was back in our home town for the summer wanting to get together. It was like a reunion.

Everyone is BUSY because they are getting ready for college. They are buying c**p from their dorm, walking around their college campus so they don't get lost on their first day, buying books, figuring out how the h**l they are going to they are going to find their new classrooms in their huge campus.....Trust me they are going to get nostaligia and call you by the end of the semester saying "OMG I MISS YOU!! LET'S GET TOGETHER!!

Also, look forward to making new college friends. If you are going to a University of College that has sororities, you can join one of those. That will offer what you are missing...It will be an instant group of tight friends. These new friends will keep you satisfied until your old high school buddies start calling you. College is a major change so everyone is getting the hang of it. As soon as they do, it will become old and they will yearn from their old friends and have a sense of nostalgia like you do.
