So my character is one of those people who is so smart that they don't know how to deal with people. I know that this is some sort of disorder, but does it have a name? I'd like to do more research on it and figure out some key physical characteristics that these sorts of people have.

  1. high functioning autism. or asperger's syndrome

  2. Anti social disorder or social anxiety

  3. I would refer to the DSM book for the symptoms of the mental health issue you are trying to portray. By the short discription that you give the disorder maybe more than anti-social. All the best and "Brake A Leg"

  4. This sounds more like avoidant personality disorder or narcissistic pd.  Anti social is more like a person who has blatant problems with government and establishment.  Google personality disorders to discover which one applies to your script.
