I'm in grade 9. I havent danced in awhile and I have a chance to take a hiphop class. Is it too late to start?

I've always thought that you have to start earlier in your life to do something successfully. And I'm starting my 1st year in high school.

I haven't been involved in organized dancing in 6 years...

But I love to dance.

And I'm a pretty good basketball player so its not like I am uncoordinated.

So should I do it?

I see no reason why you shouldn't do it.

I mean, if you're in grade 9, still take it while you're young.  I mean, if you don't, you'd entirely be regretting it for the rest of your life.  So, go for it.

I know this is a little different, but i didn't start playing softball until i was in the 9th grade & now i'm playing college softball. You still have plenty of time, & if it's something you love to do go for it! I don't think it's too late to start at all.

There are some thing you cant start at that age(ex:gymnastics,pointe work etc.),but hip-hop is definitely not one of those!You should definitely go and dance!..with dance you'r gonna be in fit shape and if your tallented and work hard maybe you'l even go to competisions!So go and dace!At least try!Think how many people would want to but don't have the chance!Hope this helped!

its never to late to learn something new, it doesn't matter if your in the nineth grade or in your nineties, if you want to learn something don't worry about when your starting out just do it, if you come up with excuses not to do what you want, you'll never have any real fun in your life. take the classes, get the most out of your life and don't worry about people thinking your to  old to start, ifs your life, dance if you want to.

it's not too late!!! i started only when i was 14!! last year now i'm 15 and i have done alot of progress just by practicing at home!!! go for it!!! good luck!
