Question:

I'm in high school and i want to pursue a career in dentistry, but I'm not too sure what sciences i need! Help

I've checked out a lot of university's in Canada but i can't find what I really need from high school going into university, and i need help fast because school is going to be starting in a matter of weeks, and i want to have all the correct classes before its too late!

Jazz is right, this is a good question for your counselor.  You could also consider calling the admissions department at the universities that you are interested in attending and asking them what classes they would like to see on the transcript of their ideal applicant.  You can also ask them what kind of GPA they are looking for, what kinds of extra curricular activities they might recommend and inquire as to whether or not their University has a summer program for science or dentistry students!  The admissions counselor might be able to answer those questions and more, or she/he might even have you speak with an adviser from the Dentistry or Science department!

    The next time you go to the dentist, you might want to ask her or him where she or he went to school, and what she or he would recommend you apply!
