  1. you should watch your limits

but yeah, i think you might be taking on more than you can actually handle

  2. Only you would know if you're working too much.  If you can work and still manage to maintain your grades, then great.  If your school work is suffering, then yes, you are working too much.  Your priority in your life right now is school.  Not only that but your social life.  Don't waste the best years of your life working nearly everyday, have some fun and go out with friends.  There will be a lot of time to work after graduation.  The choice is really up to you.

  3. Yeah, you can probably handle it.

    BUT....

don't be like me and put all your eggs in one basket.

If you are planning on going to college, it is important to have several other extra curriculars. I thought it was nice to have all the money at the time, but in the end i couldn't focus on the other things i loved while i was in school. Save the long hours for the summer. Because colleges see whether you had a job or not. not how many hours a week you work. don't let the long hours stress you out and effect your grades, time with friends, or anything else you love. I would say work no more than 10 hours a week.

  4. hey im in year 9 in highschool in australia i work 3-4 days a week have band 1 day a week and dance 2 times a week i recently got a small cold but with everything else i had going on i missed a week of school and 2 weeks of work and the small cold turned into being stress related i would cut down your hours by 2-3 days your education is more than a job right now even tho you can buy things with your own money and not worry about asking your parents for cash when you work.it took me an overall month to get over a simple cold and abit of stress and i am only 14 and just starting to get over it. cut down your hours please its not nice when you get what i got.

  5. Well it's good to have a job, but is it interfering with your study schedule?  If you have no problem balancing the two, then you should be fine, but I would make sure that you have adequate time to study for each class and are able to do the work.  You might want to see if he can maybe give you 2 days off during the week, but make it up with Friday night/Saturday/Sunday hours
