I'm in hospital and my wife just upgraded my iTouch and bought MonkeyBall. I can't run here with no wifi?

She can load the apps at home where we have Wifi but when I turn on iTouch in hospital where no wifi and select AppStore it just says is trying to connect. How do I make this work where wifi is turned off?

  1. If there is no wifi connection then you will not be able to conect.


  2. A hospital would not have wifi facilities for the simple fact such equipment affects electronic equipment in a hospital. That's why mobile phones are banned in certain parts of a hospital!

    In short it wont work, so I would suggest unless you want to really hack the staff off forget about it!

  3. The App Store on your iPod Touch will only work through a wireless network. You must have wifi turned "on" and be connected to a network to browse apps and download them. Alternatively, you could shop the App Store on your computer, then sync applications to your iPod Touch using iTunes.

    If you've already downloaded Super Monkey Ball (35.3 MB) to the iPod, there's no need to have a wifi network nearby or have wifi turned on at all. You can play it anywhere offline. ( I have it myself, great game by the way)
