I'm a pretty decent swimmer, some of the guys on the swim team say that I'm better than some of the people on the team.

  1. Jay,

It's never too late. If you enjoy swimming, training a few hours a day, and your teammates then I suggest you join the swim team.

If you're looking to be on TV in the Olympics in London in 2012 then it's a bit of a stretch. Most Olympic swimmers begin swimming around 10-12 and spend 6-12 years to get to the International stage. Olympic swimmers also are 100% committed to what they're doing. They have very little life outside of the pool (Okay except for the Natalie Coughlin's out there). It all depends on what you want to get out of this sport.

    Good luck with your decision.
