I'm in need for a grant. Anyone know the best website to apply for a grant?

they're a lot of grants out there but I don't know which one is the best one. Any particular ones that work?

  3. Hi, Melissa, You need to fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) application which you can find on http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. This application connects the proper Federal financial aid for a student based upon the student's financial information. The deadline for 2007-2008 is June 30, 2008 and for 2008-2009 it's June 30, 2009. You need to apply every year but it's certainly worth your while to check out the website so that you can gather your information together.

    Often, Federal assistance such as Federal grants and loans will fall short of a schools financial requirement so you will also need to look into Private Student Loans as well. If you have a good work history and a good credit you will probably qualify for the loan yourself. Otherwise you will need a co-signer.
