between $5-10 an hour, varies depending on if they're CPR certified, have baby sitting training etc. the more experience and better offered services, the more you will be charged.

Put an ad in your local paper. I think a lot of teens would jump on that oppurtunity, not too many hours taking up their summer and gives them a few extra bucks in their pocket! Just specifically ask for CPR certified etc... you could offer a flat rate of $50 for the week. (or whatever u are comfortable with)

Since it is a babysitting job for a baby you may give a little extra, but since it is only for a short time than you dont give them a bonus just pay them by the hour, because when I babysit for a long time 6 to 7 hours, the mom gives me a small bonus. like 5 dollors, but since it is a short job dont worry about that. It also depends on the sitter you get. If they are just starting out they plan to make less than a professonial or someone with less expirence.

Here are some good rates

Age of Babysitter= Pay

12-15=$7

16-20=$10

21+=$12

i love kids and i just turned 18 i was gonna say i can watch him for 25 dollars a week but u stay in chicago and i stay in cali

a teenager would probably be the best bet - make sure they are responsible lol- run an add in the penny saver....

4 days a week.... id say 30$ a week , its only a total of 6 hours but kind of an inconvenience to have that block in your day....

hmmm well u could put an add in the locate newspaper/pennysaver.....i think u could give 6-10 dollars (each day) for the short amount of time...i wish i lived in chicago =)

When I babysat I used to get about $10 an hour. So for a half hour I would give about $15.
