Question:

I'm in need of some help here. Quitting Mcdonald's?

I'm fifteen years old, and I went to McDonald's early June to find a job. This was my first job, also. The manager put me off for a month for an interview (kept making excuses), and then finally told me I had a job. Now, it was July, and he made numerous starting dates which were all canceled at very little notice. He never did get back to me. Instead, my mom got so angry with the way he was treating me that she went in and had me ask straight up what was going on and if I had a job. He wasn't there the three days she tried this, but finally he gave me a pretty quick starting date. It's now August, and I've worked three weeks. I hate my job. The people aren't friendly, I hardly got any training (after two days they put me on dinner rush with nobody helping me), I'm getting paid minimum wage, and I'm only working four hours for one day a week. 1. If you really have the smoothie job, go for it!

Just tell the manager at McD's that you have found other employment and you will not be returning.  You will quit many jobs in your life and it is never easy, but you'll be glad when it is over and done with!

    Good Luck!!

  2. Just be honest and tell them there is no need to put you on the new schedule because you are resigning since you found another job. Just end it by saying thanks for the opportunity.

Good luck with your new job, it sounds nice.
