  1. Not likely, my son played kicker too. It is not typically a spot schools like to tie up their few athletic scholarships on.

Keep up you grades and apply for everything you are eligible to apply for when it comes to scholarships.

And keep kicking. Whether coaches hate kickers or not, it is a player that will inevitable have to win the game for a team.

    Have fun and study hard.

  2. you can go farer bro

  3. A 40-yard FG is considered "standard", even at the high-school level. You need to be able to hit 50-plus consistently to even get the attention necessary for colleges to look at you.

Keep working. Get your leg stronger, and strive to get those 50-plus yard kicks down. If you can work your way up to 60, even better. If you tried out for a D1 school later on, keep in mind that you'd be going against guys who can kick 55-plus yard FG's with some consistency. And a few of them will have scholarships.

And remember... NFL league minimum salary is what, $750K a year now? That alone should be sufficient reason to keep working hard.
