  1. Yes,No Problem. I've bought loads of stuff & have never been charged duty though some suppliers add VAT.

  3. Yes you can use your card, but there may be a premium charged for currency conversion.

    Add to that shipping charges and possible import duties, check out the total cost before you buy.

    Visa will make a currency coversion (at their rate) and add a service charge for this.

    You will have to pay VAT and possibly customs duty too.

    Not all US site ship outside the US, so do check this and what they will charge for shipping.

    Shipping from the US to the Uk can be expensive.

  6. Yup, you can get charged by the taxman when it comes into the country, it could be aroung 20 percent of the value of the item or a minimum of £20 extra.
