I'm in the market for a GPS device. Any advice on which one to buy?

Without way more information in your question, you're not going to get a good recommendation for a specific model.   The reality is that a great GPS for, say, a backpacker is a terrible GPS for an over the road truck driver.   What's your intended use of a GPS?  A unit for consumer use in a car vs. a motorcycle will be different.   Street nav units are very different than handhelds.  Aviation and marine differ in yet other ways.   Even in handhelds, you need to think about whether you need mapping - or, if weight rules supremely, if you even need a screen!
