  1. If you come from one of those countries where it will take you years to get processed, you could try to get in with a provincial nominee program. You would need a job offer and then apply for a work permit and you can apply for PR through the provincial nominee program even though your other PR application is still being processed.  The PNP is supposed to get your PR within a year but you can wait and see which one hits the stage of medicals first and then withdraw the other one.

PNP's of different provinces here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/p...

  2. You CANNOT speed up the process. Having a job will NOT speed up your PR application. But you are allowed to apply for a work permit and get a job in Canada. It just won't speed the process up.

EVERYONE is in the queue and everything is done in a strict - first come, first served - order, and there are probably hundreds of people ahead of you.

Also unless you are already in Canada no employer is going to want to interview you unless you have very unusual skills.

Most employers do not like applying to the government for permission to hire a foreigner and that is what they are required to do. The government needs to know that the company has advertised extensively and that there really are no Canadians available to do the job.

However if you still wish to try and find a job - you can do so at the following website, It is free to register.
