I'm only in the A Team (basketball) because there isnt enough people on that team. We have a lot better chance of winning games, but the practices and game schedule doesnt fit me. I need to concentrate on my academics, but i want to play too. The B team is in a division that's beatable, but with a new, but with a new addition to our team (doesnt know the rules and cant even dribble right or shoot farther than the second line of the key) . The A team doesnt have my friends in there, but the B team does. What should I do, stay in the A team or Go to the B team?

  1. Go B, since you're only in 8th grade lol.

  2. What was the reason you joined the team in the first place? to have fun right? [haha.. idk, that sounds like a reason i'd have.] So what's the point of  being in the team if your not having fun :] or if your freaking out :]] if i were you, i'd switch to the B team. The A team doesn't sound so happy. haha....

  3. You have a couple options.

1)Start sucking, and miss every lay up and free throw.

2)Just tell your coach flat out you want to be on the b team.

3)Tell your couch your not good enough.

  4. "I need to concentrate on my academics."

You just answered your own question right there.  If the A Team gets in the way of school, you should definitely go to the B Team.  Just talk to your coach and explain to him/her about the situation.

  5. allalalala

  6. MYSPACE.COM/LILFRANK22MUSIC

  7. my computer is so slow

  8. I would say go to B team. It would suck to get kicked off the higher team because you can't focus on your schoolwork more. Plus, things are MUCH more enjoyable with friends.

  9. well, i had this problem this summer. but reversed. i started on the 'B' team and i knew i shouldve been on A so i just worked my *** off and showed the coaches how badly i wanted it. the A team is  the better team at my school (i dont know how it goes at ur school). if you really want to do something badly, then talk to the coaches they'll understand and ask your friends what they think you should do, only your real friends want to see you do well, either in academics like you say or basketball.

P.S. i still don't get why you would give up on the A team if you were good enough to make it.

  10. What works best for you!

  11. If i was you, id stay in the A-team and hone my skills against the best competition around. you wont be a baller if you play against ppl who suck (no offense). remmber:

Play with the best and you'll be one of them.

  12. You shouldnt.

u should want to compete at the highest level to get better.

i play basketball i was on varsity as a freshman.

itll make u a better player.

Just stay on the "A" team if your serious about it.

if u cant make it fit your schedule then do what ur interested in most.

if u r serious about basketball just try ur best to make it work.

    Good Luck

  13. I'd say go B team if you really are doing it for your education. If its only for your friends... I'd say stick with A team to progress.

  14. not our problem waste of 5 pts

  15. Explain to your coach that you want to focus on your academic studies, and since it is your academic future at stake, and since that will have a greater impact on your life than any game of basketball, you would appreciate it if he accommodated your request.

If you have a dumb coach that won't co-operate, then you have to get creative, and get kicked out for being a major distraction - try coming to practices dressed as an actual member of the "A" team, like B.A. Barabbas (Mr. T). Carry on like a pork chop, and say "I pity da fool" a lot, sure you'll get shouted at before they boot you out, but it may be the quickest solution.

  16. go to the b team

you may start on the b team but its middle school just wait till you get to high school its a lot harder

  17. I was in the same situation when I was in 8th grade (last year) My coach put me on A team and all my friends were on B team. But apparently your coach put you on A team because she saw potential in you. I never went to any kind of Basketball camp I just learned in the streets and played with my neighbors. I think you should stay and play with the A team.
