  1. Fall in love with a rich girl and study hard. Both are required.

  2. yaar don listen to these firangs !!!

my case is same as yours.....did my btech...was wrkin in IT....

got selected in AI cadet pilot program.

I tl u the best-est way is to get selected in a CAdet pilot program if ur a sci or engg grad....

then at least u have a job assurance.....take education loan ...easy !

then Airlines takecarer of selectin ur trng institute etc

otherwise if u go and take edu loan on ur won and then go for trng without a job assurance.....and if by chance u don get a job...very likely as the present scenario is ....it'll be very very dificult !

Also very imp is to make sure ur fit(Class1)....go to dgca site c a list of docs get urself examined....if not fit....cant even thnk to start!

try out fr Spice hjet Kingfisher, Indigo or Air India's cadet pilot program....

    good luck

  3. In addition to the last advice, the best way is to loan the money from a bank. If you are a serious student, willing to graduate, they usually are willing to give you the money, since a commercial pilot earns enough to refund it.

I'm not quite sure how that's in your country, but in mine, this is the most common way for pilots of the lower and middle class families.

  4. Try for air force

    or schollarship

  5. You can get a loan. Sallie Mae offers several options. Depending on what you want to do with your license I would suggest getting your instrument and instructor licenses as well. Most companies wont hire you with just a commercial you have to meet a hour requirement.

  6. well if you already have your private pilots license (its about $5k USD with lessons and flight time and rental fees and such), what you can do is offer your services to fly an airplane with a banner as long as the company rents the plane out for you (its not you accepting money, which you can't do as a private pilot). So, the company rents out the plane for you, you get to fly around for a few hours with a banner stuck to your tail and well, you get up to the necessary amount of hours for a commercial certificate (which is about 250, make sure you have a logbook!). and well, best of luck! This is how i am getting my hours currently. i am up to 120 hours and have yet to pay a single penny for aircraft rental fees :) however, you DO NOT GET PAID, you are doing the company a FAVOR! DO NOT ASK FOR MONEY FOR YOURSELF, ONLY FOR THE RENTAL FEE AND THAT IS IT!!!
