You could also contact them. They list models at no charge. If someone sees your picture there, they contact the agency and you are in business.

every girl in Seattle who thinks she's a little bit hot thinks she can make a living modeling. my sister tried it and paid a ton of money for classes and clothes and makeup and photo shoots and shoes and everything and i don't think she ever made enough to pay for what she paid out. and if my friends were right, i guess she was okay to look at too (but now she's fat anyway).  give it up and get a real job. go to college.

You should first hire a professional photographer to help you make a modeling portfolio.  You should then check in with Seattle modeling agencies, as they are the ones with all of the connections.

In terms of photographers and agencies, make sure they are legitimate and reputable before you give them any of your money!
