  1. I would be happy to give you a little info.

    1. It can be an exciting job. You work with different people and situations all the time. It is a job that allows you to use your creativity everytime you go to work.

    2. The first thing you need to do to get started is get a good SLR camera and learn how to use it. Then just keep practicing.

    3. Look at schools that specialize in photography. You have two kinds of choices. Art schools where you major in photography and will get a bachelors degree and trade schools that are intense photography only classes. I can't say which is best it depends on what you want and whether having a degree is important to you. Here are two schools to look at one is a technical or trade school. The other is a college of art. Compare the curriculum and decide which you like best. I went to the Art Institute of Boston.

    Brooks Institute of Photography

    The Art Institute of Boston

    4. The things a photographer must have is a decent SLR camera and the lenses that fit the subject that they shoot. There are a million other accesories. Each is for a different purpose. As you get more experience you will figure out what you need.

    5. There should be camera clubs and classes around your area. The first place to look would be your school. You can also ask at a good camera store or call the local arts council. They will all know of clubs and classes around. Also check your local community college. They will all have classes. Some will be credit and some non credit courses. It shouldn't matter if you have not finished high school if you want to take a non credit class.

    6. The best version of Photoshop for beginners is Photoshop Elements at about $100

    7. Whether to have a home studio or to buy or rent a studio will depend on how much you will use it and the amount of money your willing to spend. You can set up a basic home studio for a few hundred dollars. You can rent a well equipped studio for a couple of hundred a day or you can spend thousands and set up your own studio.

    8. Before you can start working for someone else you will have to build up a good portfolio of work. Then go to local photographers and ask if you can tag along or be their assistant.

    9. Some photographers make a lot of money others do not. It depends on whether you work for yourself or someone else. What type of photography you do and how good of a business person you are. The key to making money is to be a good sales person. You need to sell yourself.

  2. Well I am just a beginner in photography but I want to be a photographer so I will answer your question best I can!!

    1) Well I know it can be frustrating

    2) You start a portfolio

    3) Well there is the New York Institute of Photography but any college with photography classes should be good

    3) A DSLR

    4) Creativity, A tripod, Photo shop, ect

    5) I am sure there are. Check your school first to see if there is a photography club or class. Also check your local community college. Also take as many art classes as you can in school

    6) Not sure sorry

    7) I am not sure but I would think a home studio would be best because you can take picture whenever you feel inspired and not have to drive somewhere to take pictures

    8) I am not sure what you mean. I know you have to be 18 to work at at the portrait studios like a sears and such
