  1. If you're really into witchcraft and are not Wiccan, then you ARE a witch.  However, since you think that if you claim to be a witch, you will alienate people (which, very probably, you will!), if I were you, I probably would not mention my proclivities at all.  In fact, I am somewhat similar to you in that I have been interested in the occult and the Western Magical Tradition for many years (and am also agnostic).  I live in what is generally regarded as the "Bible Belt" where nearly everyone is "Christian" and "pious", so I simply do not discuss my unusual interests with anyone.  I think that it is unnecessary to label myself; no doubt, the same is true for you, although I see no real reason why you (or I) should not be able to call ourselves whatever we are without having to worry about offending others.  Unfortunately, that would most likely not be the situation!

  2. Just refer to yourself as what some of us do....nothing.  But, if you have a belief in a particular higher power then use that as what you are.  Just because you practice witchcraft does not make you wiccan.  If you believe in God and practice that doesn't make you less of a Christian.  If you believe in multiple Gods and/or Goddess then you are Pagen.   Not sure exactly what you are....then go to the below website and take the Belief quiz.  Then you can classify yourself.

  3. Whatever you would call yourself, Wiccan, hobbyist, fan; neither belongs in religion and spirituality...

  4. Witcan !

  5. Witchcraft and Wicca are NOT the same thing.

ALSO: if you are a witch, but don't want to freak people out when you call yourself a witch - don't tell people you are a witch. Believe it or not, that can be a personal thing that is kept private.

  6. u can say that u are superstious

u dont have to tell people u are a witch its none of their bisnus

wicca is a safe and cool religeon if u read more about it youll like it

if you believe that if you think something very strongly it happens you should be wiccan

  7. Jean

  8. A pagan

  9. It depends on what you believe. For example, I'm a daughter of the Mother Goddess, so I'm considered a pagan. However, even though I don't participate in what people consider "witchcraft", I still refer to myself as a witch at times, simply because it's easier to explain.

  10. pagan

  11. I am no longer a Wiccan, though I was in the past. However, I do magick, which by some is called withcraft. Witchcraft can be used in conjunction with any religion, or no religion at all.

  12. i dont think so...~_~ i think you just feel that your a witch and you don't really know what it is...you practice witchcraft and your not wiccan...so your a witch, is this some plea to sound special...cus it is sounding like one. you probably don't even know the first rules of witchcraft do you? you just saw it in some TV show and decided, hey i want to be one ti sounds fun. ~_~, if you were a true witch you would know what would be in store for you if you used magic for anything other than good.

    i hope you mature

  13. There is a different between "witchcraft" like Sabrina's witchcraft and what Wiccans do.

I don't know what you would call yourself, wiccans call themselves witches. I think if you would call yourself that (if that's what you see yourself as) eventually people wont be freaked out because they will know you don't cast hexes on them.

  14. To be wiccan is to practice witchcraft. So if you believe and practice witchcraft, that would be the appropriate title. People are freaked out by alot of things. No need to try and please them. Alot of people could be considered wiccan, and don't even realize it. Anyone who worships the Earth. The Bible says, 'thou shall not worship any false idols'. The wiccan religion worships the Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. Therefore, they are placing idols above God. The Bible also says 'wichcraft is as rebellion'. When you use the hold these things above the lord, or any other idols for that matter, you are sinning. And whether you realize it or not, if God isn't the one on your side, then Satan is. Power from the Earth, is power from the devil. Satan rules this Earth. He is powerful. He makes his army look more appealing, because they can immediatly give you what you want. Witchcraft also states that anything given will be recieved 3 fold. Three times stronger, you will get back what you ask for others to recieve. Sure, it can be worded so that it seems like you are giving good, and therefore, will recieve good. But like I side, there are only two sides. My mom used to quote Max Lucado. In one of his books, he says, life on Earth is as a pen mark on an ongoing string of eternity. Is it worth is to seek immediate response from Satan? Do you want to spend eternity with him?
