I'm invited to my boss's daughters wedding... what should I get for her?

She is about 30 years old, seems really cool and outgoing. I've NEVER been to a wedding before and I don't know what to get her! Any ideas on a nice gift?

Go off her wedding registry.  

Either that, or a gift card.  It is not required that you bring a gift.  Personally, I would just buy the cheapest thing (or several cheap things) and go with that.  

I work the registries sneakily.  I wait until the last minute, then I go in and buy the 5 cheapest things.  Makes them think I spent a bundle, even though I just went with quantity.

OR, a $50 gift card to Macy's, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, IKEA, etc are also good choices.

If you do not the person well, I would suggest either money or something off of their regisrty.

ask your boss if she is  registered anywhere and go off that list.

Money always works, especially if you are going to the ceremony and reception and not the shower.

You could always add an add-on to their honeymoon if you find out where they are going (ask your boss?). A room upgrade, private dinner, activity, etc at their destination is always a welcome gift and very different!

If not, I agree with finding out where they are registered and going from there!
