I love it! We eat Italian food all the time. I think everything is just delicious. I love pasta and salad. I know that when I go into an Italian restuarant, anything I order will be worth my money!

As an American from NY, I thought I knew what Italian food was, until I moved to Italy.

Italian food in Italy is not the same as "Italian food" in the US. Of course it is similar but there are big differences.

I married an Italian from Rome and lived there for 5 years. Italians are VERY hospitable and I was always eating at someones house, even if I wasnt hungry.

The food there is fresher than in America and you can actually taste the food better there than here, I think cause here they use to many pesticides, GM, etc...

In Italy they have different plates - first the pasta then the meat comes then the salad, then the dessert, then the fruit and chocolate, then a cafe! Here in America we put everything in our plate at the same time.

I remember eating at the home of my wifes friend and after I ate the pasta, she asked me if I would like more, I said yes. Then I finished that plate. I thought that was it, then I see her pulling out of the oven a big chicken roasted with potatoes!!! Then after that even more food!!!!

I love the pasta's and the cafe.

Do yourself a favor a cook a simple but great Italian dish.

Spaghetti with Olive oil and Garlic. You will love it!!!!!

im italian to but i rarely go out to eat italian because i prefer to cook my own. i do love italian food but my FAV cusine is Mexican HAHA
