  1. Congratulations! He just sounds like a healthy little boy :). I went in on Monday for my 20 week u/s and my little girl is currently 13oz and measuring right on time. I wouldn't worry about it. My son measured large the whole time I was pregnant with him, but he was born the morning after his due date and weighed 7lbs 7oz. I "try" not to worry about anything unless the Doctor expresses a concern, otherwise I would drive myself crazy.

  2. No he might be a little bigger than average, but that does not mean that he is going to be too big. I am 38 weeks, and my daughter weighs 8 lbs. 9 oz. and she weighed in at 14 ounces when I was about 20 weeks.

  3. That's about right

But I always say, it's better that the baby is too big then too small right?

  4. Ahh I just researched the topic myself, as my little girl was 13oz when everyone I know's babies were only 10oz at that stage. I found out that all babies grow at different rates and if you're eating right then he should be fine! Just be happy you don't have an underweight baby, then you would have to worry. It sounds like you have made a wonderful home for him, and he will grow at his own pace. Plus, the ultrasound is just a guess at how much they weigh and is usually off quite a bit! Good luck and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy! xo

  5. not at all perfect but there not always accurate

  6. Ultrasounds are not 100% reliable when guessing weight and its just an estimation.  So your baby boy seems to be on the right track.  I wouldn't be worried.

  7. No all babies are different when I went to my 20 wk U/S baby was measuring and weight as if 22 wks that's totally normal
