  1. that it contains the word "god"

that's not how I feel, but it's what a lot of people don't like

  2. It unifies the Country by establishing the understanding to respect persons's differences.

It had to be removed from the public schools so the politicians could instill their own rendition of morals ( which was not permitted previous); that lineated a specific groups values.

  3. I don't like the word 'God' personally.

I feel its outdated and over-used. Let's coin a new term already.

  4. I don't have anything against it, but when we are forced to give an oath of allegiance every morning then we are no better than the fascist enemies we are fighting.

  5. Atheists and left wingers don't want to say it. Atheists because God is in the pledge, and left wingers because they hate this country.

  6. It reeks of nationalism.  It was also changed in the 50s to include "God."

I have no problem with it, but just saying it doesn't make you a patriot or show you love your country any more than someone who doesn't.

Remember, the n***s showed great Nationalist spirit too.

  7. The Pledge of Allegiance has not always been what it is today.  In the early 1950's the government added "under God" to it because the Communists didn't believe in God.

They took what was a perfectly fine pledge, and used it to cram religion down the throats of every American school kid who has to say the pledge.

Communism has been relegated to the ash heap of history.  It's time to restore the pledge to it's original form.

  8. Objections include what has been mentioned plus issues of accuracy/truthfulness:

The nation is obviously NOT indivisible.

Is there really justice for all?

  9. They are part of the 50 year old movement to weaken and destroy America from within.

The "communists" have changed their names since the 1960s.  They went from Hippy to Liberal, to "progressive".

  10. I have nothing against it, I figure if America is good enough to live in then why would you not say it? If you disagree with it, move.

As for it containing the name of God, there is another version that does not have that line in it and it is always a choice to say that version.
