I'm just getting into baseball and i like certain squads of players?what team should i like?

The NYY = Jeter,A-rod,Damon,Abreu

The Bosox= Pedrioa,V-tek,Ortiz,Lowell

The Rays= Longoria,Crawford,Pena,Kazmir,Sheilds

I no there in the same division but I like them and I'm not a bandwagoner because I just got into baseball so if you tell me who to like i'll stick with them!

I'm sorry to break it to you, but if you suddenly become a fan of any of the three teams you listed, you will undoubtedly be labeled a bandwagoner by some people, and no one likes a bandwagoner.  And don't ask Yahoo Answers what team you should like....I mean, come on.

How about a National League team? Brewers, Cubs, Cards, Phillies or go with a home team wherever you live

You really need to make decision yourself and you will enjoy the game much more because of it.

Yankees and Red Sox already have their fair share of bandwagon fans and the Rays are just starting to become a good team so people will accuse you of being a bandwagon fan.  You should pay attention to a few teams and see what team you think suits you the best and pick it that way.  If it's one of those teams you listed at least you know you picked them because you enjoy watching them rather then taking someone on Yahoo answers advice and picking a team that way. You really need to make this decision on your own.  My personal opinion, I prefer the NL to the ALand all the teams you listed are AL teams.

If you don't wanna be a band wagoner, rule out the Sox, not only because they won the World Series, but because every person that thinks they know about baseball, but really knows nothing about it, is a Sox fan, plus it's cliche, same with the Yankees. If you're a person that hates the Sox, such as myself, it is okay to be a Yankees fan, and vice-versa. If you're a Rays fan, you might have been the only one a few years ago, but now, you may be considered a band wagoner, on account that they're hot now. Outta those 3, I'd go with the Rays or Yankees, but absolutely not the Red Sox.

I personally like tthe Atlanta Braves- Chipper Jones, John Smoltz, Tim Hudson.  But if i had to like any of those teams i would like Tampa Bay because they have a lot of young talent and they are a young franchise who need more fans.

It's ok to like those players, but if you are just getting into baseball, you should go with your hometeam. At least that way, you won't be labeled a bandwagon fan.

its all up to you but i would jump on the dodgers bandwagon and forget these A.L. teams
