She hit it right on the head. I bet you a billion dollars that if somehow lynching black people became legal again , many white people would be out there doing it. Dont kid yourselves people. This is an extremely Euro-centric country with LOTS of deep-seated hatred for non-whites.

What about hispanics in commercials? Asians? There are millions and millions of them here as well. Oh thats right, it has to be selling salsa or rice for them to be in it... then again....

There are plenty of black people in advertising in the US...and have been for a number of years.  In fact, the way they are portrayed in ads at times can be somewhat controversial.

Hmm I just saw Naomi Campbell in that geico advertisement, I'm pretty sure she's black. However that's in America where the black community pressures the media to put up more people of color.

Maybe coz the advertisement companies don't think black adverts will sell as much as white adverts..And when you live in a predominately white country, can you blame them???

because British TV sucks. I can't wait to move back to america in January. There's such a minority or black people in England though. You should talk to my mom about this. Whenever someone does something dumb on TV and they're black she says "they had to use the black guy"

In the US there is a equal amount of people of different nationalities in commercials on all the networks. But, mostly white and black people. PLUS over here in America we protest alot.... WHEN some thing is NOT FAIR we get ticked of and have a riot at the blink of an eye..lol

Two of my favourites TV Shows Were The Lenny Henry Show and Little Miss Jocelyn.

They're both black.

Where im from in britain, there are more blacks then whites and africans and carribeans are considered 'choong' (It means pretty)

My old school, and my new one,  both take Black History Month VERY seriously.

Well I live in America and there are plenty of black people in commercials, especially on bet(black entertainment television)!!  Watch black channels and you will see more black people!

Maybe England is racist, I wouldn't know b/c I haven't been there before!
