  1. run long distances but take your time. get to where you can run 5 miles w/out stopping and then try to pick up the pace and keep doing that. it works.

  2. I say go for it hunnie! Running is the best way to get in shape and it feels good................. run, run, run!

  3. you should so do it! my friend was forced to do cross country by her dad in 8th grade and she made me do it with her and she started out not the best and now she is a freshman and did crosscountry and lettered. She has improved so much i really think you could do the same and use her as an inspiration!! good luck and i really hope you decide to do it. its also a great way to get in shape while making friends!

  4. If your mind is fit, the body follows.

If the mind says he cant do it, your body stops.

  5. Yeah, my dad forced me to do it because he was the assistant coach to the xc coach for track, and I found that I love it. I met a whole bunch of friends who are so nice, and I stayed in shape. I can't run long distances for my life (8 minute mile, I am a sprinter) but xc helps me stay in shape for track. You should totally do it!
