  1. 1984 will be required reading for you by your school at some point.

    everybody has to read it.

  2. Try the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, its a love story between a vampire and a human. I know you're thinking "vampires?? Ugh" But I promise its now what you think.

I am not really into fantasy books but the one was great!! I guarantee you won't want to put it down!

  3. The Seventh Tower series by Garth Nix or the Lirael series by Garth Nix...they're both really good sciene fiction..and The Seventh Tower is sort of futuristic too

  4. back to the future

  5. How old are you?  That will affect what books should be recommended.

A Wrinkle in Time, Madeleine L'Engle

  6. Honey, you have hit the jack pot with me! LOL!

There are MANY MANY styles of sci-fi and fantasy but I will give you a list of authors to check out and you are bound to love one of these!

Piers Anthony (DO NOT start with the Xanth Series, you can read that later but they get kinda tiresome rather quickly)

I LOVE Piers Anthony so much that I am on a quest to own EACH AND EVERY ONE of his 100+ books!

His style is too diverse to describe but it is good... REAL good... And best part? MOST of his books can be purchased REALLY cheap at used book stores like Half Price Books.

I recommend starting with "On a Pale Horse".

Anne McCaffrey is a GODDESS! Her Dragon Riders of Pern series is nothing short of magnificent... Her Crystal Singer Series is spectacular! Oh, DO NOT start with the Acorna Series... Kinda sucks...

Merriam Zimmer Bradley... She has some d**n good stuff too! The Mists of Avalon may take you a year to read (It took me a FULL SCHOOL YEAR to get through it the first time but it is worth it) and I recommend starting with "The Firebrand".

Anne Rice... Vampires exc. Read The Vampire Lestat FIRST, then Queen of the Damned, and THEN Interview with a Vampire... I didn't like Interview and if I had started with it, I would not have gotten in to the series...

Andre Norton... She is really good too... Start with "The Elvenbane" and then the one called something like "The mirror of destiny" or something like that...

OH! A single good book to look for is "Sentenced to Prism." It is one of my FAVE books ever… I don’t remember who wrote it…

Another good one is “The Cats Wold Portal” I don’t remember who wrote this one either…

I also liked the Dragonlance Series… Start with the “Dragons of” series before getting in to the books on individual people or species… It is like, Dragons of Winter Night, Dragons of Spring Dawning, Dragons of Summer Flame… I can’t for the life of me remember the order but they say it on the books…

    Who else?

R.A. Salvatore! LOVE him too... Start with the series that has Drizzit's Origin Story... I think it is "The Legacy" but it is one of those... About his childhood... Then you can move on to the books after he flees and makes it to the surface.

OH! John Saul! Start with "Only Child". His stuff is strange but good... I started reading his stuff when I was like, 12 and haven't stopped buying everything he comes out with since... I have about 30 of his books... Another good one is "The Unwanted" and "The Unloved".

When I was 12, I got SO in to reading Only Child that I actually read the whole book in one night... I started just reading a chapter before bed but next thing I know, it is morning and time to get up and the book is at the end...

  7. The Twilight Saga By Stephenie Meyer

    The Host By Stephenie Meyer

  8. the uglies series (:

    heir apparant

  9. Every book written by Isaac Asimov.
