  3. http://www.viator.com/tours/Ireland/The-... < -- This gives you a basic rundown of things to do in Ireland.

The Guinness house, Dublin Zoo, Croke Park, Wicklow Jail , Kilmanen Jail and the GPO which  is a post office with a great historical significance to it are great things to see.

You could go down to Cork and See the Blarney Stone. The myth is If you kiss it you’ll never shut up!

For the scenery I like the Wicklow mountains.--- > http://www.gsi.ie/NR/rdonlyres/6CC9C746-...

Also in Wicklow, are the Sugarloaf mountains. They’re very beautiful too.-- > http://www.lookaroundireland.com/countie...

In Dublin, The best night life is definitely in Temple Bar. It’s big, It’s modern and It’s expensive while it has loads of history and culture to it too.

If you want a relaxing, quiet holiday in the country or enjoy the scenery, then any parts of the country will do it for you really like Donegal, Galway, Clare, Mayo etc.

If you want a shopping, busy, touristy holiday then anywhere (or most places) in Dublin will do it for you.

A town in Kerry (the South of Ireland, It’s beside Cork too) called Tralee is very touristy. It is the largest town in Ireland.

It has many attractions and loads of shops and a great night life.

It’s great for young people and people with small families. It suits everyone.

It has an aqua dome swimming pool which is always packed and outside the pool, You can play crazy Golf.

Here is a site on Tralee:  http://www.tralee-insight.com/

Killarney is another county which caters a lot for tourists. It has good Castles if you’re into that and it has a lovely countryside and the sea is nice there too. Here is a website on Tourism in Killarney--- > http://killarney-ireland.info/

The People in Ireland, in my opinion are an extremely welcoming race. I think this because I have went to other countries from a young age on exchanges, holidays with college etc. and I thought no one was as hospitable as the Irish.

  4. Two summers ago, I went to Ireland for 6 weeks. My best advice is for you to bring an umbrella! It rains a lot! The weather is also much cooler than what (at least I) was used to here, so you may want to take jeans and a few jackets/sweatshirts. Also, I hope you're not planning on driving, seeing as gas comes in liters over there and with the exchange rate can run you around $7/liter. Oh, and eat up before you go:the food (unless you enjoy blood sausage and the blandest mashed potatoes of all time) is terrible. Have fun!! It is truly beautiful!

  5. Well were having good weather at the moment so tshirts and 3/4 lengths would be good. But you may know that Irish weather can take a turn for the worst most of the time so an umbrella, hoodies and tracksuit bottoms or jeans would be good aswell! Food wise, well you can get basically anything here now, they have Polish shops and polish stock in some shops, and there is a great variety of asian cuisines. But if you want to go all irish, theres nothin like a full Irish breakfast(bacon, eggs, soda bread, sausages etc) or for a dinner beef stew is nice, but it depends on your tastes, but i find it warm and filling!

There are great places to visit aswell(the burren, newgrange, Trinity College). the west is the best for culture. Be warned though, Cork people talk VERY fast with a strange accent, but it is quite cool. If your going to learn Irish, Connemara Irish(Galway) is probably easiest to understand, Donegal Irish though, is practically like another language!

    Have fun on your trip!

  6. You didnt specify where youre going so ill try to cover east and west lol

    Dublin.......!......

    Go to Temple Bar!!!

Its the most expensive place in Dublin, but if you go during the week, there is often "offers" on drink...

(also, a little trick we do is to slip a small bottle of vodka in my bag so i dont have to buy so much in there lol)

    Id recommend.....

Dorans (GREAT live music and food)

Try Barcode (thursdays are cheapest btw!).....i go there all the time and im 18 (its kind of young place, youd love it i reckon!)

    21's

    Reds

    The Viperoom

    Whelans

Theres alway great music in Tripod....it a lovely place too

If you want a really "irish" pub....try Johnnie Fox's pub, in Glencullen on top of the Dublin mountains.....out if the way, but it is the highest pub in Ireland lol

    Bars aside,

    You can visit Dublin Castle

the Dublin Spire is on O'Connells Street (extremely overated but very tall lol)

Depending what youre into, theres lot of museums and art galleries such as the National Gallery and the Irish Museum Of Modern Art.

there are some great bus tours..."the viking tour" and the "ghost bus tour" at night

    Phoenix Park (with the zoo!)

Grafton Street/Henry Street (for shopping!) - theres a cool vegetarian cafe called "Nude" near there too lol

If you want to go to a shopping centre, go to "Dundrum Town Centre.

Also, taxis are very costly here....if you can, get the Nightlink (bus) which operates in Dublin in the early hours!!

If you really want to experience "old", traditional ireland,The west is the place to go!...County Clare (QUITE near to Galway.....ish!)

i have family who live in a town there called Ballyvaughan....and its absolutely beautiful

There, you can stay in a thatched cottage and visit the little pubs and restaraunts by the sea - theres often live music.

Theres also lots of cool scenic things there too.

The burren (take a look at the Dolmens, theyre incredible!), the Ailwee caves, The cliffs of Moher.

Theres also a "birds of Prey" sanctuary near the Burren - worth a visit.

In Lisdoonvarna i think, theres a nice aquarium and if you want to do some shopping you can go to Ennis.

The people are SO friendly there and so proud of the County- the accents are crazy too lol.

In comparison to most places in Ireland, its a lot cheaper there

Its really hot here at the moment...but dont take it for granted....it could rain!

Dont forget warm clothes...but hopefully it'll stay sunny!

    Have a great holiday!!!!

(ALSO!....Kelsey is talking absolute c**p! the food here is NOT terrible....you'll love it!!! "Black (blood) pudding" is some disgusting, traditional food that NO-ONE eats (lol) and you certainly wont have to!

The food is great, trust me)

  7. 1st off, you're going to live in my dream resort and now you're staying, yes, that can be depressing...
