  1. Being a father of five children myself, I think this is a wonderful idea. Most daycare centers take good care of the kids; but, lack in certain areas critical to a child's proper development. Very young children need a lot of love and nurturing. It sounds to me like you care for these kids with more than just your time.

In your note, say things like how much they will be missed, add a short quip about something funny they did or something they learned. You can tell the parents thank you for allowing their child to be a part of your life. If you own a digital camera, have someone take your picture with the child and send that with the note. (my wife LOVES pictures)

    God bless and good luck!!!

  2. just send out with each child a nice, final letter letting parents know hyour feelings and what's going on.  also a good idea to include who will be taking your place as the teacher. good luck.

  3. I think it is always a great time to let the parents know how much you enjoyed working with their child and also with them as parents. Also include a thank you to them for sharing their child with you and the school. Their child is their pride and joy and you want to let them know that you appreciate that.
