  1. Post Office or, the larger superstore Sainsbury stores have a holiday money shop run by Travelux.

  2. You will not find the best exchange there, as it involves using your bank card in a hole in the wall in any of the Euro countries.

If you leave your money in the bank and use your card you most likely pay a fee, but if will be a better exchange rate and the fee will be smaller than that of the places you can change cash.

Those places that do not charge a fee will give much worse rates.

And the best thing about getting your money out of the wall, you do not need to travel with a lot of cash, running the risk of loosing all if you act stupid (loosing it) or are victim of pickpockets.

If you want to change left over Euros at the end of your holiday, you best compare the rates and fees in your town, but if your post office does do exchange I am told that their exchange rate is not too bad and that they do not have a fee, but compare it to your own bank. (You may also be able to skip the fee there and the rates might be better.)
