  1. Copy down the Vehicle Identification Number that's next to the Bar Code on the Dash of the Car, or on the Registration Form, then submit it to http://www.carfax.com .It will probably cost you to get this Info., but you will have your Answer.Hope this helps !

  2. one word: carfax

have him run a carfax and if he hesitates and seems nervous he is probably lying.  dont pay for the carfax either.  tell him if its  good you'll buy it.  you dont really have to unless you sign something so dont do it.  the civic is a good car i highly recommend it.  look up price on kbb.com and edmunds.  bring a friend to for support.  on edmunds click on tips and advice for how to buy the car getting a good price

email me back please, im curious to see how things work out

oh yeah i recommend switching to gmail, its way simpler and less croweded and way more space.

  3. best place is prolly gonna be a car fax report if you want the details..

  4. Insurance company will consider a car totaled if the repair cost is more than the book value.  Then the insurance company sell it off as salvage (to be used for parts).

So on a nice new car, that means there were extensive damage to the car.  But on really old car with very little book value, even a little damage will be considered "totaled" because it just would not be cost effective to fix them.

    Good Luck...
